Due to COVID19, guests are taking greater precautions in avoiding unnecessary contact when staying with our service apartments. Ascott is seeking new ways to minimize the aerosol effect resulting from flushing of toilet bowls.  As published in multiple research reports, microorganisms are found to deposit on toilet bowl surface, adjacent walls, etc. due to the aerosol effect.

Requirements

  • Fully automated self closing toilet bowl cover that flushes, cleans the toilet cover and self-opens the cover to prepare for next guest use.
  • Easy to use.
  • Robust.
  • To demonstrate efficacy and safety via provision of trial evidences.
