Finland has much recognition such as most stable country, happiest nation, freest country, digital knowledge capital (Helsinki) in Europe, press freedom, the lowest poverty rate in OECD, integration of digital technology, digital economy & city, city of the future, space per person in Europe and ranked the best country for expatriates. Investments in Finland rise year by year. Finland receives the highest percentage of VC funding both per capita and in relation to GDP in Europe. In 2019, Finnish startups and growth companies raised a new record amount of €511 million of VC funding. Of this amount, €113 million came from Finnish VC funds, €180 million from foreign investors, and €54 million from Business angels. Wolt, a logistics tech company, broke the startup funding records by raising €110 million in 2019. Foreign investors invested a total of €295 million into Finland in 2019.
